Google's moon shot: Founders hope to inspire low-cost space travel

Having conquered cyberspace, Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin have set their sights on a new frontier - the moon.
The duo first considered building their own private space ship. But instead they have arranged for their Mountain View company to fund the Lunar X Prize, a competition that will award $20 million to the first team that lands a private unmanned spacecraft on the moon - and broadcasts high-definition video back to earth.

Tata Teleservices in association with Samsung Telecommunications India has unveiled mobile web browser, fully optimized for mobile Internet, on Samsung Explore. "This newage browser is country's first mobile web browser designed to provide mobile users a true web experience at speed 3-4 times faster than GPRS, with access to all websites and all this on a multimedia device from Samsung," the company claims.

the mobile Internet comes at prices ranging from Rs 10 per day to Rs 99 for a month, with unlimited Internet access. The Rs 10 pack gives unlimited Internet access for a day, Rs 30 pack gives unlimited Internet access for 7 days, and Rs 99 gives unlimited Internet access for 30 days. Samsung Explore comes with a 'Go Active' connection that offers free incoming facility for a year and free 1,000-minutes Tata-to-Tata calling at no extra cost.
In addition, Tata Indicom's customers also have the option to select their own tariff plan from various tariff options. Samsung Explore packs in host of features like 0.3 MP camera, full-fledged MP3 player, stereo hands free, BREW and WAP, FM with one-time auto tune, 1.77-inch TFT color screen to make pictures and websites come alive, unique customized-for-India applications, expandable memory to take care of your photos, video clips, and Samsung's security features of mobile tracker and emergency SOS Alert.
