Re-inventing Education - Salman Khan

Been following khan academy for quite some time now, and would like to share this awesome TED talk  where Salman talks of re-inventing Education with videos..

I really like this idea of humanising education in the classrooms, and making education available at the ease of a person, and irrespective of the age, class, creed, anything...
It also provides an interesting view of the progress made by students and the need for improvement , and identification of weaker areas...
Everyone has a right to education, and this medium provides it simply, although I am a bit concerned about the spread of the same - ah well, considering the penetration of networks and personal technology, I do not think it should be far off
Very inspiring Salman...

Salman Khan talks about how and why he created the remarkable Khan Academy, a carefully structured series of educational videos offering complete curricula in math and, now, other subjects. He shows the power of interactive exercises, and calls for teachers to consider flipping the traditional classroom script -- give students video lectures to watch at home, and do "homework" in the classroom with the teacher available to help.
